Beautiful short film about letterpress, by Danny Cooke. Great to see this kind of craft being preserved and talked about. Although things have evolved a lot, it´s important and quite inspiring to understand and appreciate, all the emotional values, this kind of production method can translate into the finished work.

I´m always fond of seeing paper taken out of its common use as a 2 dimensional medium, and worked as a building material, as we often see on origami or papercraft. So, I had to admire these paper sculptures by Jen Stark. The detail that goes into them, the vibrant colors and the nature´s inspiration that they translate, clearly show how such a common and overlooked material, such as paper, can be transformed to create amazing and unexpected things. The West End Show is a gallery exhibition by Radim Malinic, a London graphic designer and illustrator, that presents ten illustrated poster designs, using London’s West End area as inspiration. The richness of the bold and ornate designs, with a classic old century look, together with great typography work, create images that stand out, not only for their visual appeal, but, also, for their concept and associated meaning. Each poster features an 8 line poetry, also written by Malinic, providing some context to the area that´s represented. For more information about this exhibition, visit The West End Show website.
